Château la Bourrée Castillon CÔTES DE BORDEAUX (2017)
A delicious find from Bordeaux's Cotes de Castillon, along the eastern border of Saint Emilion. Mostly Merlot, with added Cabernet Franc, Bourree has delicious notes of dark cherry, red currant and cassis in a smooth, medium-to-full bodied style. A touch of oak compliments the silky tannins on the long finish. Ready to drink now, try this with lamb, roast beef or other braises, or cellar for up to 3-5 years if you can hold out that long.
Concentrated red cherry flavors with smoky notes of classic cedar and pencil shavings. Tart red fruit with herbal accents mix with gripping tannins in the structured finish
