Robert Parker 90 Points
“Made under the brilliant consulting work of Claude Gros, who, along with American broker Jeffrey Davies, brought Chateau de Negly into the limelight, La Peira’s least expensive cuvée is a blend of 65% Cinsault and 35% Carignan aged in concrete tanks and neutral wood foudres. Yields were very low and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Gorgeous blueberry, blackberry and raspberry notes jump from the glass of this elegant, pure, medium-bodied wine that has exceptional fragrance at this price point, excellent concentration and nice texture and overall equilibrium. This is a beauty that’s quite Burgundian in style and very pure.”
Experience the terroir of the Languedoc region with LES OBRIERS DE LA PEIRA. This 2014 vintage wine reveals beautifully intense fruit characteristics and hints of spice. Expertly aged, it's velvety texture and elegance merges with its subtle notes of oak, creating a truly sophisticated experience.
