Domaine Gerard Fiou 'Just Fiou' Sauvignon Blanc

Domaine Gerard Fiou is a small, family-run estate in the eastern part of Sancerre. Fiou is one of just a handful of producers here, and the soils in this vicinity are super flinty (silex) and the vines are quite old (60+ years old). This combination of well-drained soils and old vines gives Fiou's wines an intense mineral expression.

Fiou's 'Just Fiou' Sauvignon Blanc comes from vineyards just a couple of miles outside of Sancerre. Grown on similar flint and limestone soils, this Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc explodes out of the glass with aromas and flavors of zesty citrus, green apple, pink grapefruit, and honeysuckle. Delicious!
