Dark ruby to the eye, this wine has aromas of blackberry jam, caramel and a touch of earthiness. Bold acidity offers an excellent foil to muscular tannins; both support raspberry, black cherry, dried thyme and mocha flavors that evaporate into a drawn-out and surprisingly bright finish.
