The 25 hectares of vines of the Granajolo Estate have been won over the maquis. Located in the municipality of Saint Lucia of Porto Vecchio, the vineyard is grown according to the specifications "Ecocert", i.e. without fertilizers, synthetic insecticides, chemical weedkillers or any product other than copper sulphate and sulphur. The hillside vineyards with a very dry microclimate and sanitizing sea breezes are planted with the traditional varieties of the Appellation Vin de Corse Porto Vecchio: Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, Vermentinu.
Passionate about nature, André and Monika Boucher opted for organic farming. Thus, cultivation methods and winemaking are rigorously controlled throughout the year by Ecocert and by the regulatory bodies which issue the approval enabling them to benefit from the "Culture Biologique" label. A label that qualifies wines from organically grown grapes. A graduate in oenology in Bordeaux, Gwenaele now leads the estate with her mother. Bringing both winemaking and packaging, this touch of modernity that suits today's wines and girls of its age.
