Caprili is a top-notch Brunello producer, and this is the estate’s entry-level wine. Composed entirely of Sangiovese Grosso from younger Brunello vines, it is fermented and aged in stainless steel. Showing some serious concentration and depth, especially for such an affordable bottle, it’s loaded with dark fruits and light spice notes. It’s a lot of wine for its modest price – makes a great Italian house red for those dinner nights with pizza, lasagna and pasta with red sauce. 

Nestled in the Tuscan hills, Caprili has been hailed by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate as the “Most Valuable Player of the year.” Caprili is an old, traditional house in Brunello di Montalcino, among the first 20 producers in the region.
