Materra Midnight by Chelsea Barrett (2018)
2018 Midnight has a deep purple hue and aromatic notes of cranberry, red currant, and vanilla cola.
The first sip reveals zingy acidity and a bit of nice spicy oak. The back palate rounds out with chocolatey notes and plenty of finely textured tannin.
This is a medium-weight wine, but the finish has surprising power and persistence. Drinking beautifully upon release, this wine will age up to 7 years in your cellar, and is incredibly versatile for food pairing.
