McNab Ridge 'Skullflower' Red Blend (2020)

50% Petite Sirah, 30% Zinfandel, 20% Syrah. Deep purple color. Aromas of violets, raspberry, blackberry, bramble jam, fennel, smoke, vanilla. Continuing to the palate, overripe fruit flavors of strawberry, black cherry, blueberry, black pepper, cream, herbal, chocolate, blackberry compote, orange peal, anise, cinnamon, fig, raisin, ginger, nutmeg, and mushroom. It is a dry, fruit forward wine with medium + acidity, high-chalky tannins, which fills out to a full body wine with a medium + finish.
