Pristine, high-pitched aromas of alpine red fruits – tart and sweet cherries, wild raspberries, and red roses. For such an intense wine, there is an effortless sense of harmony on the entry, more floral than savory, followed by a mélange of deep red fruit flavors and a distinct oyster shell minerality that becomes more pronounced with time in the glass. Finishes gracefully, with fine tannins and a rising perfume.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth has a medium ruby color and fantastic aromatic layers—it's the kind of wine that keeps you returning again and again to the glass—with pure scents of crushed cranberries, rhubarb, saline, amaro, woodsmoke and dusty earth. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and bright with the dark-red fruits characteristic of the best 2019 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs. Intense, seamless and pure, it blossoms to tones of dried lavender and tobacco on the finish and has everything it needs for a long life in the cellar.
