Nico Pouilly Fumé

Perhaps the most famous and important Sauvignon Blanc in the world together with Sancerre. Winemaker Gilles Maudry specializes only in Pouilly Fumé and thus guarantees great quality at a reasonable price. This is a fresh, dry wine with a delicate aroma of gooseberry and lime. The taste is fruity with subtle touches of currant, all of which are complemented by unusual but completely unique peppery notes at the end. A wine that amazes. 

Not many bottles of this wine ever make it outside of France. They understand when to keep a good thing for themselves!
