Founded in 2018 by Geetesh Goyal, SOMMRAS Winery has grown into a partnership of families united by a belief that extraordinary wines create unforgettable moments. Perched at 1,700 feet in the heart of Atlas Peak, our estate vineyard enjoys the perfect conditions for producing exceptional fruit. With the philosophy that remarkable wines come only from boutique production and the finest grapes, winemaker Kent Jarman crafts each vintage with precision and care. At SOMMRAS, we share these rare wines with a close community of Napa Valley enthusiasts who value authenticity and excellence.

Appearance
Deep ruby to opaque purple core with a vibrant rim.

Nose
Expressive and layered. Ripe blackberry, cassis, and boysenberry dominate, supported by violet and lavender florals. Secondary notes of licorice, clove, cracked black pepper, and wild herbs emerge, with subtle toasty oak and a hint of earth.

Palate
Full-bodied and plush with a velvety texture. Concentrated dark fruit—black cherry, blackberry, and blue fruits—is balanced by fresh acidity.

The blend shows complexity:
Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and lift
Zinfandel brings ripe berry richness
Grenache contributes spice and earth
Syrah provides depth and muscle

Tannins are smooth but present, giving shape without heaviness.

Finish
Long and persistent, with dark fruit, spice, and floral lift, plus a subtle savory/earthy undertone.
