Spence Vineyards Howell Mountain (2015)

Another outstanding vintage on Howell Mountain with small, thick-skinned, concentrated berries on the vines, showing wonderful character in the wine.

This SPENCE 2015 is dark in color and has a beautiful nose of blackberry and cassis accented by warm caramel and roasted coffee. The intense fruit is rounded with layers of complexity and depth. This wine is beautifully balanced with integrated rich tannins, and along lingering finish. Ready to drink now, however, decanting will improve your enjoyment of this young wine. This stunning wine will continually improve throughout the next decade.
